School Board
Our school board comprises of staff, parents and community members with a diversity of expertise in vastly different knowledge and skills-areas, each with a keen interest in what is best for our student’s education and future opportunities.
As the Chair of the Safety Bay Senior High School Board, I would like to extend a warm welcome to all new and continuing families for the 2024 school year.
The School Board in conjunction with the Principal, ensures the school fulfils its educational responsibilities, oversees the strategic direction of Safety Bay Senior High School and provides input into initiatives to improve educational and wellbeing outcomes for students.
Our School Board comprises staff, parents and community members with a diversity of expertise in vastly different knowledge and skills-areas, each of which provides unique opportunities and viewpoints. The School Board looks forward to supporting the School in continuing its long and proud history of providing for a wide variety of students in the local community.
As parents, we are strong influencers of our young peoples attitudes to learning. Its our involvement and positive respectful partnerships with the highly dedicated, professional and caring teachers and non-teaching staff at the school, which is central to the success and wellbeing of our young people.
We are grateful for new and established partnerships with the local community and service providers who are integral in providing support and opportunities for our students.
